Production Blog: Week 25

On Monday we went out side to have a meeting to discuss segment ideas, we decided to do a parody of a rap battle video. On Tuesday we filmed the daily show. On Wednesday we worked on one of the segments, a promotional video for press, in french. On Thursday we worked more on the rap segment and came up with a script for it. On Friday we had to film another daily show and I had to upload pictures of the Japanese American museum trip. (WILL ADD MEDIA LATER)

Production Blog: Week 21

This week we worked on our cyber citizen project which involves making a PSA. On Monday we came up with ideas for the PSA. First we had to pick a topic to create a video on. We picked internet safety and digital foot prints. Our video will involve a man who goes on a date with some one who he has been talking to on the internet for many months. On Thursday, it was our team’s turn to do the daily announcements. On Friday we began filming the video. 

Production Blog : Week 20

This week, we began running the daily edition of the Pioneer press. On Monday and Tuesday we trained to run the daily show which included picking our jobs and learning them. On Wednesday it was our team, Delta’s turn to run the first live show. Unfortunately we were unable to complete the task. We have learned from our mistakes and hope to run our first show on Monday. On Thursday we discussed ideas for the Digital Citizenship week project. On Friday we worked on our segments, and I helped my team members get pictures for their blogs.

Production Blog: Week 19

This week is finals weeks so it was short. On Tuesday i worked on the edit for the Planeteers, which was a pain because I had to import the footage to my desk top instead of the server because it wasn’t working. It took a while to import and I was only able to get a rough edit of the first few questions done. On Wednesday I worked on fixing my blogs and we filmed the kazoo segment. The song we did was the opening theme to “Teen Titans”. Kim was generous to buy kazoos for everyone and she ended up having more than we needed.

Production Blog: Week 17

This week our group was split into pairs, I finished the script for the Planeteers spotlight, and I learned to make title cards. On Monday, due to the changes coming with the live stream, all the teams were sub divided into pairs. My partner is Timmy and we finished up the script for the Planeteers spotlight. On Tuesday, I helped Kim get shots for her segment “Teen Titans”. On Thursday I created title cards with questions for our segment. On Friday I filmed the planeteers meeting after school.

Production Blog: Week 15

This week I finished filming the charging segment, worked on a script for the sonata spotlight, again. And filmed the santa spotlight and the Japanese students who visited our school. On Thursday I filmed the santa spotlight which was Tristan dressed up as santa answering questions. On Friday we had Japanese students visit our school and I was chosen to cover it. They were really cool! We gave them a tour around the school, socialized with them, interviewed them, and had presentations.

Production Blog: Week 12

This week we had a team meeting, I wrote a scrip for Man on the street, and Filmed the charging segment. On Monday we had a team meeting to discuss what we were going to do for the week, including assigning producers to our segments for episode 10. I was assigned as spotlight on santa which I had to write a script for. I voted on it for a few days because I’m terrible at writing scripts.

Production Blog: Week 11

This week was a really short so we haven’t had time to do much, but we did finish up reshooting peer pressure, finding pictures for Pioneer secret and Filming anchors.  This week I learned how to use photoshop by practicing on a picture of a parrot. We also filmed our anchor parts for episode 7, which we actually managed to finish without much of a problem. For Peer pressure we finished up the 2 shots we needed in the office which rapped up the segment. 

Production Blog: Week 10

This week we began filming for episode 7 of the PioneerPress. We started off with the “Peer Pressure” segment written by Angela. We had a few shots of Angela ditching and other delinquent acts. We also filmed the cold opening which was team delta huddled around a fake thanks giving dinner. Both of these segments are now being edited by myself, Tristan and Timmy this being the first pieces that we’ve edited. I also had to add title cards for the Do Your Part segment, which Kim and Jarrel taught me how to do.
